Here are some photos of my first venture into Guild Ball, a medieval football game that is as much about scoring goals as it is about smashing your opponent's team in the face.
I chose the Brewers guild as a gang of inebreated madmen kicking a ball around a field and smashing shins in is the closest to representing a scouser on a tabletop game.
These models were a joy to paint and ended up being finished before several other projects as I enjoyed them so much. I must point out that I had a problem when varnishing the minis with GWs 'purity seal' spray. I stupidly tested it on Friday (the girl on far right) and experienced a frost that covered/ruined the paint! After some googling I swabbed the model with cooking oil and the frost went away but she still looks a bit different now. It wasn't my greastest experience rubbing oil on a lady but it definately wasn't my worst.
Enjoy.
